Two Large Footboard Storage Drawers

The standout feature of the Wells Gray Storage Bed is its built-in footboard storage.

Two large drawers are integrated into the footboard, creating convenient storage space beneath the bed.

These drawers can help organize extra bedding, seasonal clothing, and other bedroom essentials, depending on their dimensions and weight capacity.

The design makes practical use of the space at the foot of the bed while preserving a coordinated furniture appearance.

Unlike beds that require separate storage containers underneath, the Wells incorporates its storage directly into the frame.

The manufacturer confirms two footboard drawers but does not provide their internal dimensions or maximum weight capacity.

Sleigh-Back Paneled Headboard

The Wells features a sleigh-back headboard with decorative panel detailing.

Its gently curved silhouette introduces a traditional furniture influence, while the paneled design adds visual depth.

The headboard creates a classic focal point without relying on excessive ornamentation.

Combined with the gray finish, it gives the bed an understated appearance that works naturally in transitional bedrooms.

Classic Bun Feet

The Wells Gray Storage Bed features classic bun feet.

These rounded furniture legs add a traditional-inspired finishing detail and complement the sleigh-back headboard.

Their familiar shape reinforces the bed’s timeless character while balancing the practical design of the footboard drawers.

Versatile Gray Finish

The Wells features a gray finish that makes it easy to coordinate with different bedroom color schemes.

The neutral tone works beautifully with white, cream, beige, and charcoal bedding.

For a warmer appearance, pair the bed with natural wood accessories and soft lighting.

For a more contemporary look, introduce simple black accents and minimal décor.

The gray finish helps the bed balance its traditional design details with a more updated appearance.

Transitional Bedroom Design

The Wells Gray Storage Bed blends classic furniture styling with practical storage.

The sleigh-back headboard and bun feet introduce traditional influences, while the gray finish and integrated drawers suit contemporary bedroom needs.

This combination makes the Wells a versatile choice for bedrooms where both appearance and organization matter.

Solid Wood and Wood Veneer Construction

Furniture of America lists the following materials:

• Solid Wood
• Wood Veneer
• Other Materials

These materials contribute to the bed’s structural construction and finished appearance.

The supplied specifications do not identify the exact wood species, internal mattress support configuration, or maximum weight capacity.

Mattress-Ready Design

The Wells Gray Storage Bed is described by Furniture of America as mattress ready.

This means the manufacturer presents the bed as having a mattress-ready support design.

However, the supplied specifications do not identify the exact support components or explicitly confirm whether a separate box spring is necessary.

Confirm the mattress support configuration and compatibility before ordering.

Coordinating Wells Bedroom Furniture

The Wells Collection includes matching bedroom casegoods designed to complement the bed.

Collection features include:

• Ball-bearing metal drawer glides
• Felt-lined top drawer
• Cedar wood bottom drawer
• Hidden drawer in the nightstand
• Hidden drawer in the dresser
• USB charger in the nightstand
• Coordinating gray finish

The felt-lined, cedar wood, and hidden drawer details are identified as collection storage features and should not automatically be attributed to the bed’s footboard drawers.

The USB charger is specifically a nightstand feature.

The manufacturer does not confirm that matching nightstands, dressers, or other casegoods are included with the bed.
