This decorative detail introduces a refined, classic-inspired element while maintaining a clean contemporary appearance.

The light gray fabric highlights the tufting pattern without making the headboard feel visually heavy.

Versatile Light Gray Fabric Upholstery

The Merced features light gray fabric upholstery that complements a wide variety of bedroom color palettes.

Its soft neutral shade pairs beautifully with white, cream, charcoal, and natural wood finishes.

For a bright contemporary look, combine the bed with white bedding and minimalist nightstands.

For a warmer atmosphere, introduce beige textiles, natural wood accents, and soft bedside lighting.

The manufacturer identifies the upholstery as fabric but does not specify its exact fiber composition.

Mattress-Ready Design – No Box Spring Required

The Merced Light Gray Upholstered Bed is designed to accommodate a compatible mattress without requiring a separate box spring.

Its mattress-ready construction simplifies setup while maintaining a streamlined appearance.

Box spring required: No.

The supplied specifications do not confirm that a mattress is included.

Engineered Wood Frame

The Merced features an engineered wood frame that provides the structure for its upholstered design.

Furniture of America lists engineered wood and fabric as the primary materials.

Contemporary Bedroom Styling

The Merced combines light gray upholstery with decorative biscuit tufting for a balanced contemporary appearance.

Its neutral finish makes it easy to coordinate with existing bedroom furniture.

The tufted headboard adds enough texture to serve as a focal point, while the light gray color helps maintain an open, relaxed atmosphere.

This makes the Merced particularly suitable for bedrooms that emphasize simple furniture, soft textures, and neutral colors.

Available Queen and Eastern King Sizes

The Merced is available in two sizes.
