Portico-6/6 Upholstered Wall Bed w/End Panel By Art Furniture

King Upholstered Wall Bed – Portico 6/6 with End Panel by ART Furniture

The King Upholstered Wall Bed from the Portico collection by ART Furniture combines a bold upholstered design with clean architectural lines and distinctive end panel detailing. Created for contemporary and transitional bedrooms, this King-size bed offers a refined focal point that emphasizes texture, proportion, and understated elegance.

Soft, textured fabric upholstery gives the bed a welcoming appearance, while its structured design creates a polished, modern silhouette. The accompanying end panel detail adds definition and contributes to the Portico’s distinctive visual character.

Constructed using Parawood solids, foam, and fabric, the Portico combines specified solid-wood components with padded upholstered surfaces.

Despite its manufacturer-designated Wall Bed name, the supplied information does not establish that this model folds into a wall or operates as a Murphy bed. It should be understood as the Portico upholstered wall-bed design with an end panel unless additional manufacturer specifications confirm otherwise.

Contemporary Upholstered Wall Bed Design

The Portico features a structured design that emphasizes horizontal and vertical lines.

Its upholstered surfaces introduce softness, while the end panel detailing adds architectural definition.

The result is a bed that can anchor a modern bedroom without requiring excessive decorative ornamentation.

Clean Architectural Lines

The Portico’s clean-lined silhouette makes it suitable for interiors that prioritize proportion and restrained detailing.

This approach works particularly well with streamlined bedroom furniture, neutral bedding, and contemporary lighting.

Distinctive End Panel Detail

One of the Portico’s defining features is its end panel.

The panel contributes to the bed’s architectural appearance and helps distinguish this configuration from a conventional upholstered bed.

The supplied information does not specify the end panel’s exact dimensions, installation method, or whether it attaches to a wall.

Confirm the complete configuration and installation requirements with ART Furniture before ordering.

Textured Fabric Upholstery

The King Upholstered Wall Bed features soft, textured fabric upholstery.

The fabric adds visual depth and creates a contrast with the bed’s structured silhouette.

Its understated appearance can complement a wide range of contemporary bedroom palettes.

The exact fabric composition, color designation, and cleaning code were not supplied.

Foam Padded Construction

Foam is listed among the confirmed materials.

It contributes to the padded construction of the upholstered surfaces.

The supplied information does not identify the foam density, thickness, or firmness rating.

No specialized ergonomic or orthopedic performance claims should be assumed.

Parawood Solid Wood Components

The Portico incorporates Parawood solids.

Parawood is a solid-wood material used in furniture manufacturing.

The supplied specifications do not identify which individual bed components use solid Parawood.

The most accurate construction description is that the bed combines Parawood solids with foam and fabric upholstery.

King Size Bedroom Presence

The Portico 6/6 is identified as a King bed.

Its upholstered wall-style design creates a strong visual focal point suited to bedrooms where the bed serves as the central design feature.

Before purchasing, confirm the complete exterior dimensions and allow sufficient space for the bed, end panel, nightstands, and surrounding furniture.

Is the Portico a Murphy Bed?

The manufacturer-provided product name includes Wall Bed.

However, the supplied description does not confirm a folding mechanism, wall cabinet, or Murphy bed operation.

It also does not identify any lift hardware or space-saving conversion feature.

For this reason, the Portico should not be advertised as a fold-away or space-saving Murphy bed without additional manufacturer documentation.

Modern Bedroom Styling

The King Upholstered Wall Bed works naturally in contemporary interiors.

Consider pairing it with:

• Streamlined nightstands
• Neutral bedding
• Minimal bedside lighting
• A textured area rug
• Simple framed artwork

These elements reinforce the Portico’s architectural character while keeping the overall room balanced.

Transitional Bedroom Styling

The Portico can also complement transitional bedrooms that combine modern simplicity with traditional warmth.

Wood-tone nightstands, layered bedding, and soft lighting can help balance the bed’s structured silhouette.

The upholstered surfaces introduce texture without overwhelming the design.

Coordinating Bedroom Colors

Because the exact upholstery color was not supplied, confirm the manufacturer’s fabric selection before coordinating décor.

Depending on the actual upholstery tone, complementary palettes may include:

• Ivory and cream
• Beige and taupe
• Warm gray
• Charcoal accents
• Soft brown
• Muted blue

King Mattress Compatibility

A standard US Eastern King mattress measures approximately 76 × 80 inches, but exact compatibility should be confirmed with ART Furniture.

The manufacturer should also confirm the recommended mattress thickness and support requirements.
