Mckenna Faux Fur L-Shaped Modular Sectional by Furniture of America

Faux Fur L-Shaped Modular Sectional Mckenna by Furniture of America combines an oversized modular layout with deep seating, 1.8 lb density foam, fiber-filled back cushions, and distinctive faux fur contrast fabric accents. Available in Silver Gray or Sand, Mckenna provides two neutral color directions while maintaining the same contemporary, lounge-focused design.

Clean track arms define the outer silhouette, while plush accent pillows add another layer of softness to the sectional’s deep seating profile. The supplied frame construction incorporates iron, wood, and engineered wood components, providing a multi-material structural foundation beneath the upholstery. Its L-shaped modular format creates a substantial gathering area for everyday lounging, family time, and entertaining. For shoppers who want a contemporary sectional with generous proportions and more textural variation than a standard fabric sofa, the Faux Fur L-Shaped Modular Sectional combines structured modern lines with soft upholstery details and specified cushion support.

L-Shaped Modular Configuration

Mckenna uses a modular L-shaped layout designed to create a broad seating area.

The configuration can help define a dedicated lounge or conversation zone within a larger room.

Consider Mckenna For

• Living rooms
• Family rooms
• Open-concept spaces
• Entertainment areas
• Large lounge spaces

The exact individual modules and manufacturer-approved alternative configurations were not included in the supplied specifications.

Confirm those details with Furniture of America before planning a layout different from the standard L-shaped arrangement.

Oversized Contemporary Silhouette

Mckenna is described with oversized proportions.

Rather than using narrow seating and compact arms, the sectional emphasizes a more substantial lounge-oriented profile.

The Oversized Design Provides

• Strong visual presence
• Broad seating areas
• Deep lounging space
• A substantial L-shaped footprint

Because “oversized” does not provide an exact measurement, room suitability should be determined using Furniture of America’s current dimensions.

Deep Seating for Relaxed Lounging

Deep seating is another defining feature of the Mckenna collection.

Its seating profile is designed for a more relaxed position rather than shallow, upright seating.

Deep Seating Works Well For

• Movie nights
• Family gatherings
• Reading
• Casual entertaining
• Television viewing
• Everyday lounging

Exact seat depth was not included in the supplied specifications and should be confirmed before purchase if you have a specific seating-depth preference.

1.8 lb Density Foam Seating

The supplied specifications identify 1.8 lb density foam in Mckenna’s seating construction.

Providing an actual density gives shoppers more specific information than a generic “high-density foam” description.

Confirmed Cushion Details Include

• 1.8 lb density foam seating
• Fiber-filled back cushions
• Deep seating
• Plush accent pillows

The exact foam thickness and firmness rating were not supplied.

Fiber-Filled Back Cushions

Mckenna’s back cushions use fiber fill according to the supplied product information.

This distinguishes the back construction from the 1.8 lb foam used in the seating.

The Cushion System Combines

• Foam-based seat support
• Fiber-filled back cushions
• Plush accent pillows
• Deep seating proportions

Keeping these materials separate is important because the seat and back cushions do not use the same supplied construction.

Faux Fur Contrast Fabric Accents

Faux fur contrast fabric adds one of Mckenna’s most distinctive visual details.

The material creates textural variation against the primary upholstery without requiring bold colors or decorative trim.

Faux Fur Accents Add

• Surface texture
• Visual contrast
• A softer appearance
• Contemporary styling
• Additional textile variation

The material is faux fur, not genuine animal fur.

Clean Track-Style Arms

Track arms provide a structured counterpoint to Mckenna’s soft cushions and textured fabric accents.

Track Arms Contribute To

• Clean lines
• Contemporary geometry
• Defined outer edges
• A more structured silhouette

The combination of straight arms and softer upholstery details helps balance the overall design.

Accent Pillows Included

Plush accent pillows are included according to the supplied specifications.

They add another soft element to the sectional and can be repositioned based on individual seating preferences.

The exact number, dimensions, fill composition, and upholstery of the accent pillows were not supplied and should be confirmed if needed.

Silver Gray Upholstery Option

Silver Gray gives Mckenna a cooler contemporary appearance.

Pair Silver Gray With

• White
• Cream
• Black
• Charcoal
• Light oak
• Walnut
• Muted blue
• Soft green

Warm wood can help balance the cooler gray tone, while black accents create stronger contrast.

Sand Upholstery Option

Sand provides a warmer neutral alternative.

Pair Sand With

• Cream
• Warm white
• Walnut
• Natural oak
• Brown
• Black
• Olive
• Terracotta

The Sand option can work particularly well in interiors built around layered warm neutrals.

Multi-Material Frame Construction

The supplied Mckenna specifications identify multiple structural materials.

Frame Construction Includes

• Iron support
• Wood frame components
• Engineered wood reinforcement

These materials form the specified structural foundation beneath the sectional.

The exact wood species, engineered wood composition, and gauge of the iron components were not supplied, so those details should not be inferred.

Designed for Contemporary Living Areas

The Faux Fur L-Shaped Modular Sectional combines neutral upholstery with a large-scale silhouette and textured accents.

It Can Complement

• Contemporary interiors
• Modern living rooms
• Open-concept spaces
• Neutral décor
• Entertainment rooms
• Large family rooms

The final fit depends on the room dimensions rather than the interior style alone.

Use the L-Shape to Define a Seating Zone

In an open floor plan, an L-shaped sectional can help visually establish where the living area begins and ends.

Consider Positioning Around

• Television placement
• Main walkways
• Coffee tables
• Dining areas
• Entry routes
• Windows

The sectional should define the lounge area without blocking important circulation paths.

Style Silver Gray with Warm Wood

Silver Gray can be balanced with warmer natural materials.

Consider

• Walnut coffee tables
• Oak side tables
• Wood media consoles
• Cream rugs
• Warm white walls

This combination softens the cooler upholstery while preserving a contemporary palette.

Style Sand with Black Accents

Black details can provide definition against the warmer Sand upholstery.

Consider

• Black floor lamps
• Metal coffee tables
• Dark picture frames
• Black media furniture
• Dark decorative accents

A few contrasting elements can create structure without overpowering the neutral sectional.

Let the Faux Fur Texture Stand Out

Because Mckenna already incorporates faux fur contrast fabric, additional highly textured materials do not need to dominate the room.

A simpler rug, coffee table, or media console can allow the sectional’s own material contrast to remain visible.

Consider Combining With

• Smooth wood surfaces
• Simple metal accents
• Low-pattern rugs
• Neutral curtains
• Minimal decorative accessories

This keeps the room from becoming visually overloaded.

Plan Around the Oversized Footprint

Mckenna’s oversized proportions make accurate measurements essential.

Before ordering, map the intended footprint on the floor.

Check

• Main walkways
• Door clearance
• Window access
• Coffee table spacing
• Television viewing distance
• Side-table placement
• Floor vents
• Other furniture

An oversized sectional needs enough surrounding space to remain functional.

Confirm the Exact Modular Components

The supplied information identifies Mckenna as a modular L-shaped sectional but does not provide a complete breakdown of its individual pieces.

Before ordering, confirm:

• Number of included modules
• Corner component
• Armless components, if applicable
• Left- or right-facing components
• Connection system
• Individual module dimensions
• Approved alternative layouts

Do not assume the sectional can be converted into every possible modular arrangement.

Confirm Current Dimensions

Overall dimensions were not included in the supplied specifications.

Before purchasing the Faux Fur L-Shaped Modular Sectional, confirm Furniture of America’s current measurements for:

• Overall width
• Overall depth
• Overall height
• Seat height
• Seat depth
• Arm height
• Individual module dimensions
• Packaging dimensions

These measurements are especially important because Mckenna is described as both deep and oversized.

Measure the Delivery Route

A sectional can fit the final room but still encounter problems during delivery.

Measure

• Exterior doors
• Interior doorways
• Hallways
• Staircases
• Elevators
• Landings
• Tight corners
• Final room entrance

Compare these measurements with the current Furniture of America packaging and individual module dimensions.

Care & Maintenance

Follow Furniture of America’s current care instructions for the exact Mckenna upholstery and faux fur contrast materials.

General Care Guidelines

• Vacuum upholstered surfaces gently
• Use appropriate attachments for textured areas
• Address spills promptly
• Blot instead of aggressively rubbing
• Avoid oversaturating the fabric
• Keep sharp objects away from upholstery
• Limit prolonged direct sunlight
• Follow the manufacturer cleaning code
• Test approved cleaners in an inconspicuous area first

Because the faux fur accents have a different texture from the primary upholstery, follow any separate care instructions provided for those areas.
